As the cost of living continues to rise and families feel the strain of housing and childcare, the need for affordable, reliable out-of-school care has never been greater. Today, 1 in 4 local families rely on the Club—not just for enrichment, but for stability, peace of mind, and the ability to stay in the workforce.
Because of this community, we’re able to show up in real, tangible ways:
- Serving 85,000+ meals and snacks each year
- Providing a safe, supportive space for kids every day after school and all summer long
- Creating access to experiences—from academics to the arts to the outdoors—that shape confident, capable young people
And we’re doing it at a cost that is, on average, 45% less than other childcare options, making it possible for families to live and work here in North Lake Tahoe.
This summer, we’re expanding our impact across Kings Beach, Incline Village, and Truckee, offering full-day programs that keep kids engaged, supported, and inspired. From outdoor adventures to hands-on learning and creative expression, we’re building the kind of summer every child deserves—and every working parent depends on.
